π¨ Stay away from this company/agent! π¨
I have had one of the most frustrating and unfair experiences with State Farm. My dog got loose one day but never touched or bit anyone. Every note in the claim clearly states there was no bite. Despite this, State Farm chose to classify the incident as a βdog bite.β
Because of this mislabeling, they are now canceling my insurance. Worse, since the claim is on record as a dog bite, I am unable to get coverage anywhere else. I attempted multiple times to speak with my agent and explain the situation, but I received no support, no correction, and no effort to resolve the issue.
As a Marine veteran, I hold honesty, fairness, and accountability in high regard. To see a company refuse to acknowledge their own error and instead leave me without insurance is both disappointing and unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of customer care, responsibility, and basic professionalism.
If this is how they treat a long-standing customer over a situation where the facts were clear, I can only imagine how they treat others. I strongly recommend avoiding State Farm and finding a company that values truth and fairness in how they handle claims.
